The Project

The exposure, the weather, and the way the light moves across the water all shape how this home is experienced. Built with that in mind, Rakaia glass balustrading gives the deck a quiet strength, creating a clear line between shelter and scenery while holding its own in one of New Zealand’s most exposed environments.

Project Features
  • Rakaia Channel glass balustrading
  • Frameless glass keeps the coastal outlook uninterrupted
  • Handrail integrated across the balustrade
Designed for a highly exposed coastal environment
Strong, minimal system suited to extreme weather conditions
Clear separation between the deck edge and surrounding landscape
