Shipping Policy

BelAire Designer Fencing supplies fencing systems, panels, gates, hardware and related products for projects across New Zealand.

This Shipping Policy explains how product deliveries are handled, including freight, delivery timeframes, site access, damaged deliveries and customer responsibilities.

New Zealand-wide delivery

BelAire can arrange delivery for suitable products across New Zealand. Delivery options and freight costs may vary depending on the product type, order size, delivery location, site access and freight requirements.

Some orders may require specialist freight due to the size, weight, length or fragile nature of the products being supplied.

Freight costs

Freight costs are usually quoted or confirmed before an order is finalised.

Delivery charges may depend on:

• Product size, weight and quantity
• Delivery address and region
• Residential, commercial or rural delivery requirements
• Special handling requirements
• Site access and unloading requirements
• Whether the order is supply only or part of a wider project

If freight details change after an order is confirmed, BelAire may need to update the freight cost before delivery is arranged.

Delivery timeframes

Delivery timeframes vary depending on product availability, order type, manufacturing requirements, powder coating, fabrication, freight schedules and delivery location.

BelAire will provide an estimated timeframe where possible. Any timeframe given is an estimate only and may be affected by supplier delays, freight delays, weather, public holidays, access issues or other factors outside BelAire’s control.

Custom-made and made-to-order products

Many BelAire products may be made to order, cut to size, powder coated, fabricated or supplied for a specific project.

These products may require additional lead time before they are ready for dispatch or collection. Please confirm expected timeframes with BelAire before scheduling installation or related project work.

Delivery address and site access

The customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery details and ensuring the delivery location is safe and accessible.

Please advise BelAire before delivery if there are any access restrictions, including:

• Steep or narrow driveways
• Limited truck access
• Rural or difficult-to-find addresses
• Construction site access requirements
• Health and safety requirements
• Unloading limitations
• Restricted delivery times

Additional freight charges may apply if the delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect information, restricted access or site conditions that were not advised beforehand.

Unloading and receiving deliveries

Some BelAire products may be large, heavy, long or fragile. The customer may need to provide suitable people, equipment or site access to safely receive and unload the delivery.

Please check with BelAire before delivery if you are unsure what will be required at your site.

Delivery inspection

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If there is visible damage to the packaging or product, take photos before moving or installing the goods. Please include photos of the packaging, product, delivery label and any visible damage.

Do not install damaged products unless BelAire has confirmed the product is suitable for use.

Damaged or missing items

If your order arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect, please contact BelAire as soon as possible.

Please provide:

• Your name and contact details
• Order number or invoice number, if available
• Delivery address
• A clear description of the issue
• Photos showing any damage or incorrect items

BelAire will review the information and advise the next step. This may include replacement, collection, inspection, repair, freight claim support or another suitable solution.

Collection

Where collection is available, BelAire will confirm collection details with the customer.

Please do not arrive to collect an order until BelAire has confirmed that the products are ready. Some products may require preparation, packing, coating, fabrication or handling before they can be collected.

Delays outside our control

BelAire will do its best to keep customers informed where delivery delays occur.

BelAire is not responsible for delays caused by freight providers, weather events, supplier delays, public holidays, access issues, site conditions, incorrect delivery details or other circumstances outside its reasonable control.
