The Belaire Designer Fencing System is NZ Owned, Designed and Manufactured.

PRODUCT NAME:

BelAire Designer Fencing – providing the Classic, Signature and Estate series of designer walls and fences

APPLICABLE IN:

All NZ Wind Regions- A, B & C. BelAire have installed walls of varying heights into all
NZ Wind Regions and Terrain conditions.

DESCRIPTION:

A Modular Wall System comprises of Fibre Cement/EPS Composite Sandwich Panels supported by Formed high tensile galvanised steel support columns.

APPLICATION & USE:

Typically used as Acoustic Sound Barriers or where a Masonry look wall is desired. Ideal for high wind area’s, unstable ground conditions, difficult access sites and were conventional strip footings aren’t allowed or suitable.

SAFETY:

The lightweight nature of the product enhances safety on site and allows very fast construction times without the need for cranes and heavy digging equipment.

Wall Panels: Fibre Cement outer skins with an EPS core. Composite Panel Density: 15.49kg m² (based on 70mm proprietary sound panel)
Support columns: Formed high tensile galvanised steel, top coated with a conversion primer and
universal grey finish ready to accept self priming exterior grade paints.
Trims and capping: Formed high tensile galvanised steel, top coated with a conversion
primer and universal grey finish ready to accept self priming exterior grade paints.

Wall Types: Classic, Signature & Estate

This information is suitable for use in wind regions A,B & C of AS/NZ 1170.2-2002 SAA Loading Code. If you have any doubt about the wind region your wall will be in, get advice from your local building consent authority. It is the responsibility of the installer/owner to determine the wind region, terrain category and soil conditions. This publication is a guide only to help ascertain these factors and gain a general understanding of the different types of Modular Walls available.

Our Products

Classic: Available heights from 900mm – 2100mm

Classic walls have an overall panel thickness of 50mm and a 80mm top wall capping. Posts measure 180 (face) x 120mm (depth). Each standard section has an effective coverage of 2.53 or 2.83 meters, post centre to post centre. The classic wall is the most cost effective of the 3 styles and most commonly used in domestic boundary/screening wall applications. This style of wall will also supply great sound reduction qualities.

Posts: 180 (width) x 120 (depth) x 0.95 mm BMT
Post centres: 2530mm & 2830mm

Signature: Available heights from 900mm – 3000mm

Signature walls have an overall panel thickness of 70mm and a 100mm top wall capping. Posts measure 280mm (face) x 140 mm (depth) and designed around a single brick in width. Each standard section has an effective coverage of 2.63, 2.93 or 3.23 meters, post centre to post centre. The Signature wall is most commonly used were a true masonry wall look is desired or in a commercial security/sound wall application. The wall has superb sound reduction qualities (National Acoustic Laboratory tested)

Posts: 280 (width) x 140 (depth) x 0.95 mm BMT
Post centres: 2630mm, 2930mm & 3230mm

Estate: Available heights from 900mm – 3000mm

Estate walls have an overall panel thickness of 70mm and a 100mm top wall capping. Posts measure 320 (face) x 210 mm (depth). Each standard section has an effective coverage of 2.68, 2.98 or 3.28 meters, post centre to post centre. The Estate wall is most commonly used were a true ‘Grand’ masonry wall look is desired. The post face is equivalent to a brick & a half in width. The wall has superb sound reduction qualities (National Acoustic Laboratory tested)

Standard ‘Post Centre to Post Centre’ guide

The table below allows you to work out what your post centres will be. Example – If you have a 2400mm panel and you are using Classic posts then you will have a 2530mm post centre to post centre measurement. If you have a 2400mm panel and you are using Signature posts then you will have a 2630mm post centre to post centre measurement.
