Commercial Barrier & Noise Walls
Available heights from 3000mm – 4500mm

Note – for walls upto 3000mm in height we can utilise walls other post styles form our domestic range if required or aesthetically preferred.

Get privacy, security, and noise insulation for your premises with an attractive functional Barrier Wall and without the high construction costs.
The panels have internal recesses to accommodate electrical cable for security camera´s, lighting, intercoms etc. No longer does a commercial or barrier wall have to look like one! Have the same pleasing look of a domestic wall just taller.
The Barrier wall has superb sound reduction qualities. On average you can expect a 20db + reduction from standard road noise. (National Acoustic Laboratory test available upon request).

Barrier walls have an overall panel thickness of 75mm and a choice of either external or flush top wall capping. Posts measure 150 (face) x 250mm (depth). Each standard section has an effective coverage of 2500mm, 2800mm or 3100mm, post centre to post centre. Please refer to table below for footing depths .

BelAire proprietary composite panels - for general purpose Noise attenuation

Our wall panels are a Fibre Cement/EPS composite sandwich panel manufactured by us to rigid quality guidelines. An average panel weight is 34kg (2400 x 900) or 15.49kgs m2 with a standard panel thickness of 75mm.
Our Panels have been tested and used extensively in all cyclonic wind regions of Australia and New Zealand – including many installations into wind region D.
Panels can be stacked to achieve various wall heights i.e. an 1800mm high wall consists of 2 x 900mm panels in a ´stack´ configuration

Custom panel and density requirements can be met upon request.

We have manufactured composite Fibre Cement and Compressed Fibre Cement skinned panels up to 32 kgs m2 for project specific requirements.

These Columns are designed and manufactured by us to our tight specifications from high tensile material that has been galvanized, dyna primed and coated on both sides with a  Specific top coat to enhance performance and accept all the modern acrylic coatings.

Universal Support Columns – Wall height above 4.5 meters or Special Project requirements

These are project specific with their specifications in both Grade and Size. Typically a 250 UB galvanised to AS4600 will be utilised in most applications.

Available heights from 600mm – 2100mm

The Classic wall is the most cost effective of the 3 styles and most commonly used in domestic boundary/screening wall applications. This style of wall will also supply great sound reduction qualities.

Contemporary walls have an overall panel thickness of 50mm and a 80mm top wall capping. Posts measure 180 (face) x 120mm (depth). Each standard section has an effective coverage of 2530mm or 2830mm, post centre to post centre. Please refer to table below for footing depths.

Signature

Available heights from 600mm – 3000mm

The Signature wall is most commonly used were a true masonry wall look is desired or in a commercial security/sound wall application. The wall has superb sound reduction qualities (National Acoustic Laboratory tested).

Traditional walls have an overall panel thickness of 70mm and a 100mm top wall capping. Posts measure 280mm (face) x 140 mm (depth) and designed around a single brick in width. Each standard section has an effective coverage of 2630mm, 2930mm or 3230mm, post centre to post centre. Please refer to table below for footing depths.

Estate
Available heights from 600mm – 3000mm

The Estate wall is most commonly used were a true ‘Grand’ masonry wall look is desired. The post face is equivalent to a brick and a half in width. The wall has superb sound reduction qualities (National Acoustic Laboratory tested).

Estate walls have an overall panel thickness of 70mm and a 100mm top wall capping. Posts measure 320 (face) x 210 mm (depth). Each standard section has an effective coverage of 2680mm, 2980mm or 3280mm, post centre to post centre. Please refer to table below for footing depths.

Standard ‘Post Centre to Post Centre’ guide

The table below allows you to work out what your post centres will be. Example – If you have a 2400mm panel and you are using Classic posts then you will have a 2530mm post centre to post centre measurement. If you have a 2400mm panel and you are using Signature posts then you will have a 2630mm post centre to post centre measurement.

* 3000mm high walls may not be suitable for all regions. Please consult BelAire prior to the design stage so we can ascertain if additional materials are required example – Shortened free end spacing’s, deeper footings, core filling of posts etc.

BelAire Designer Fencing has worked extensively with Dulux Paints to provide wide range of coating systems & wall finishes to cater for all requirements.

What are your options

1. Paint your wall with a acrylic paint to provide a very modern (un textured) finish (see guide for Exterior paint application)
2. Apply a sand based paint to achieve a cost effective ´Tuscan´ finish (see guide for Sand finish paint application)
3. Apply a trowl on acrylic render. Although this can be sold as a DIY product in alot of hardware stores  it is a skill to apply and in most cases best left to a professional.
4. Want to add a FEATURE PANEL - Stack Stone or Mosaic feature panels can add that ´bling´ your wall needs.

Sand Finish Paint Application

How to achieve a cost effective Tuscan style rendered look: As this is generally the first time most people have applied this type of finish it is highly recommended that you follow the procedure below exactly on a small test panel first before applying to your finished wall.     

Never apply in direct sunlight Products Base Coat –   We use and recommend Dulux Acra Sand texture paint. Acra Sand is available from Dulux trade stores only. Only a single base coat of this is required if overcoated with Dulux Weathershield (see top coat step below). If a different sand based finish is selected (than specified above) please ensure that it is self priming onto fibre cement/masonry surfaces. If it isn’t then a base primer may also be required.                      NOTE: This base Acra Sand coat can (in most cases) be tinted to the colour of your final topcoat at the time of purchase.

Top Coat –     We use and recommend Dulux Weather Shield or a similar premium brand of exterior grade paint. Surface Preparation – Posts, Trims & Post Tops The metal surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry and free of contaminants.     Lightly scuff/rub down all Metal and Primed components with a Scotch Brite pad prior to the application of paint.Scotch Brite pads are available from most paint stores.

Surface Preparation – Panels     Prepare the surface by ensuring that the Fibre Cement Panels are clean, dry and free of contaminants. This can be achieved by means of a brush down with a stiff brush or rubbing lightly with a ‘Scotch Brite’ pad. Application Procedure

Apply one coat of Dulux Arca sand to both panel surface and Scotch Brited Post surface with a 50 – 100 mm brush in a very random criss-cross pattern. The more random & erratic the better! At this stage don’t worry too much about patches that may look thicker or bare in comparison to the surrounding areas. This will be even out when the top paint finish is applied. Be cautious to avoid ‘lumps’ or ‘runs’ in the sand texture and try maintain a ‘wet edge’ to the paint

1. Once you have applied the texture don’t go back over it as it is starting to dry as that will only serve to ‘fluff up’ the semi dried texture finish. If you feel an area needs re applying wait until the sand texture is completely dry.
2. If your wall contains a joint, paint the Acra Sand over the joint as normal. The joint will not completely disappear, but leave a faint line once completed as shown here below.
3. Once the base coat of Acra Sand has dried, apply a topcoat of Dulux Weather Shield exterior paint (or similar) in the colour of your choice.       

Application Procedure for Dulux Weather Shield Two coats of paint are required.We recommend applying the first coat with a roller. Cut in the sections that the roller missied with a brush prior to applying the second coat. Let the ´cutting in´ dry and apply a second ´cutting in´ coat prior to the second and final roller coat.On a large job a spray application may be justified. Please see the paint manufacturer for advice on spray application.

We recommend you paint your wall within 90 days of instsallation.

Exterior Paint Application

Painting Modular Wall Systems fibre cement panels We recommend that you use Dulux Weather Shield or a similar self priming premium brand of exterior grade paint. A base primer is not required as long as the paint being applied is self priming and suitable for untreated fibre cement / masonry substrates..

Surface preparation – Posts, Trims and Post Caps  The metal surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry and free of contaminants. Lightly scuff/rub down all Metal and Primed components with a 3M Scotch Brite pad
prior to the application of paint. Scotch Brite pads are available from most paint stores. NOTE: The light key this gives won´t be visible but it is effective!

Surface Preparation - Panels Prepare the surface by ensuring that the Fibre Cement Panels are clean, dry and free of contaminants. This can be achieved by means of a brush down with a stiff brush or rubbing lightly with a ‘Scotch Brite’ pad.

Application Procedure Two coats of paint are required.

We recommend applying the first coat with a roller. Cut in the sections that the roller missed with a brush prior to applying the second coat. Let the first ‘cutting in’ dry and apply a second ‘cutting in’ coat prior to the second and final roller coat.
On a large job a spray application maybe justified. Please see the paint manufacturer for advice on spray application.

Note: This guide is for paint-on finishes only. If a trowel on render effect is going to be applied you can consult your local BelAire agent. An Acrylic Render should
only be applied to the Fibre Cement Panel surface and not to Metal Trims or Post Tops. We recommend you paint your wall within 90 days of installation

Gate Instruction Guide

BelAire fences are designed to be assembled with ease. There is no need for heavy construction and digging equipment or cranes. Two people can easily handle BelAire panels. They are simple to install in difficult-to-access areas such as backyards or annexed ground. BelAire provide step-by-step Self-Install Instructions that any competent DIY person should be able to follow. This said, like all these things, experience does go a long way to the final look of the product and for this reason BelAire encourages you to explore having your fence installed by an accredited professional.

Modular Panel Gates

SLATS & INFILLS

Slats
We stock 65x30mm Slats, Louvre’s 90mm and 120mm, and also a standard 1200mm high pool panel insert, Special pool panel inserts can be priced and made on request.

Plain/Mill Finish that can be powdercoated in any powdercoat color.

If installing Slats in-between BelAire Walls Posts then the gap can be defined by the end user or installer very simply by means of spacers. A standard gap for a privacy screen would be 15mm.

Infills

There are a 1000 different types! Generally any style of custom infill can be installed in-between the BelAire Wall Posts. We can co-ordinate the manufacture and supply for your desired `custom` design.

Gates can be built for site access into temporary enclosures or to secure perimeter boundaries where specified.
